Soo. This morning the local School District sent out an email to all parents. I'm going to try to make it as short as I can, because I'm actually annoyed, and a little angry at this. The email said that "there was a Snapchat video circulating around, threatening the safety of an undisclosed school." In other words, some moronic teenager thought it would be a good idea (and so funny, apparently) to make a Snapchat video holding guns, looking "all bad", and saying stuff like "Don't go to school today." Seriously?? We can do better than that. Way better! I hope however did this gets the max punishment they can get. And thank you to the APD and the Anchorage School District for working together to fix this issue as fast as they could. You don't "play" like that with other people. There is always a limit. For everyone. Please people, a little common sense. Kids learn from what they see, and hear. Choose what you allow in their young life, wisely. As an actual Parent, it's our responsibility to teach them well. So they are ready to face the world as an adult.
